Lots of political leaders talk about supporting people with disabilities. They are generally compassionate, but when it comes to actually DOING something to improve the lives of the disabled, they are lacking. That is not the case with Mike Demicco. Here are the bills that Mike introduced in the 2018 Session.

  • An Act concerning minimum employee wages for providers of state-administered services for persons with intellectual disabilities.
  • An Act establishing a pilot program to serve people seeking residential services from the Department of Developmental Services.
  • An Act concerning graduate funding and the provision of support and services for persons with intellectual disability.
  • An Act establishing a a task force to study the needs of persons with intellectual disability and pilot programs to establish and evaluate alternative service models for persons with intellectual disability.
