COVID-19 is a valid excuse for voting by mail from home or early in person, via absentee ballot for this election.

Request your absentee ballot and vote by mail (ballots available starting October 1st)

  1. Obtain an absentee ballot application:

(Town of Farmington website → Departments → Town Clerk → Absentee Ballots)

    • Call the Town Clerk’s office: 860-675-2380

    • Email the Town Clerk’s office: rayp@farmington-ct.org

    • In-person at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall during normal business hours (M-F 8:30am-4:30pm)

(You may apply for an absentee ballot and vote in person in one trip at the Town Clerk’s office starting October 1st) *

* The Town Clerk’s office will be open extended hours to accommodate voters wishing to vote in person via absentee ballot on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 until 7:00pm.

  1. Complete the ballot application, and:

    • Mail in to the Town Clerk’s office: Farmington Town Hall, 1 Monteith Dr., Farmington, CT 06032

    • Drop in the secure ballot box outside of Town Hall

    • Deliver in-person to the Town Clerk’s office, 1st floor Town Hall (M-F 8:30am-4:30pm)

  1. Once you receive your ballot:

    • Complete your ballot carefully, following all instructions

    • Place it correctly in the enclosed envelope, with the address for the Town Clerk clearly visible. Then return to the Town Clerk’s office:

      • By mail: affix proper postage and mail by October 20th

      • OR Drop in the secure ballot box outside of Town Hall

      • OR Deliver in-person to the Town Clerk’s office, 1st floor Town Hall
