The Farmington Democratic Town Committee, (FDTC), is proud to announce the 2023 FDTC Farmington High School winners of the FDTC Annual James P. Smith Scholarship Award to Eloise Fairbrother and Ruupala Kalaiarasu. The FDTC offers up to 2 scholarships annually, $1000 each, (with money raised from FDTC members and Friends of the FDTC), to students who wish to pursue their education in the field of government or community service. A proven commitment to local political and/or civic involvement is required. The winners must enroll in a college or university within a year of when the scholarship is given.
