If you are eligible, follow these steps to request your absentee ballot
(ballots available starting in October)
1. You may obtain an absentee ballot application:
- Request an Absentee Ballot Online Here
- Printable form – available online here.
- Call the Town Clerk’s office: 860-675-2380
- Email the Town Clerk’s office: frinkm@farmington-ct.org
- In-person at the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall during normal business hours (M-F 8:30am-4:30pm)
(You may apply for an absentee ballot and vote in person in one trip at the Town Clerk’s office once the ballots are ready in October. Call the Town Clerk’s office at 860-675-2380 to confirm)
2. Complete the ballot application, and:
- Mail in to the Town Clerk’s office: Farmington Town Hall, 1 Monteith Dr., Farmington, CT 06032
- Drop in the secure ballot box outside of Town Hall
- Deliver in-person to the Town Clerk’s office, 1st floor Town Hall (M-F 8:30am-4:30pm)
3. Once you receive your ballot:
- Complete your ballot carefully, following all instructions
(NOTE: Be sure to sign both INSIDE AND OUTSIDE envelopes)- By mail: affix proper postage and mail by October 25th to allow 2 weeks for it to be received.
- OR Drop in the secure ballot box outside of Town Hall
- OR Deliver in-person to the Town Clerk’s office, lower floor, Town Hall
- Complete your ballot carefully, following all instructions
