Larry Levesque – Bio:

Larry Levesque has long understood the appeal of life in Farmington; when he and his wife Carol moved to town 11 years ago, the quality of its schools played a key role in their decision-making.

Larry is a senior attorney with the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. He also serves as a member of the Connecticut Siting Council, regulating new utility facilities. Previously he worked in private practice serving businesses and individuals, and as a counsel to the Cities of Hartford and New Britain.

An avid user of Farmington’s bike paths, Larry volunteers with the Farmington Valley Trails Council and is a member of Farmington Bike and Connecticut Bike Walk. He also has volunteered with Little League, and with the New Britain Planning Commission, for which he was both Chairman and a member of the Finance Board.

A graduate of UConn Law School, Larry worked in planning after earning his Masters in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Illinois. His focus is on balanced Town development and protecting residential neighborhoods, as a member of the ZBA.
