To the Editor:
We are asking all of our friends and neighbors in Farmington and Unionville to vote for Mike Demicco on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
Mike is a true public servant in every sense of the term. As our current State Representative in the legislature, and previously as a member of the Farmington Town Council, Mike has made every effort to listen to the concerns of the public, and act on those concerns. Mike attends countless meetings and events around town, answers e-mails and phone calls and knocks on thousands of doors at election time, all in effort to hear what our residents have to say.
On the Town Council, Mike’s thoughtful and balanced approach to government brought us reasonable budgets, great schools for our kids, and property tax relief for our senior citizens.
In the legislature, Mike has brought home millions of dollars in state aid for Farmington, secured grants for numerous projects around town, protected water and electricity rate-payers from excessive charges, continued to pay down our pension liabilities, and protected services for our most vulnerable residents.
We are proud to support a hardworking honest and humble public servant in this year’s election. Please join us in voting for Mike Demicco for state representative on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
