Bob Wienner – Bio:

Robert Wienner recognizes that zoning can be complicated. “I want to apply the law with fairness and humility while preserving the integrity of the town’s zoning laws,” he says, and that’s why he’s running for the alternate position on the Zoning Board of Appeals. A lawyer and real estate developer, Robert has experience to spare, and the company he started in 1995 has developed more than a million square feet of real estate space in the tri-state area and Pennsylvania. This kind of deep background means a lot — he understands that even the best-designed zoning regulations “cannot anticipate every situation and sometimes can have unintended consequences,” and he’s ready to use his substantial professional expertise to help guide Farmington.

Robert isn’t only dedicated to his professional life, though. He’s a father and grandfather, and his grandchildren are students in Farmington public schools! Robert is also a past member of the Hartford Symphony and the Urban League of Greater Hartford, as well as the co-chair of Governor Lamont’s task force on transit oriented development in Fairfield County.
