Bill Beckert – Bio:
Bill Beckert is seeking his third term on the Farmington Board of Education. Bill’s a father to two children in the schools and is married to a teacher. He has practiced law for almost 25 years. Bill moved to Farmington in 2001 and immediately began volunteering for the Farmington community. Over the past 17 years Bill has served on the Conservation Commission, the Town Planning and Zoning Commission, the Inlands and Wetlands Commission, and since 2009 on the Board of Education. In addition to these numerous town position, Bill is also a member of several community groups, as well as a coach to local baseball and basketball town teams.
Bill is committed to ensuring every child in our town has an opportunity to reach their highest potential. He cares deeply about special education, and has worked to foster an inclusive school climate. Bill is a passionate and honest voice for Farmington education.
