Peter Bagdigian – Bio:

A lifelong Farmington resident, Peter Bagdigian has strong roots in the town. Long active in local government, he currently serves on the Water Pollution Control Authority, and is a past member of both Town Planning and Zoning and the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Peter remains committed to the place in which he raised his family. All three of his daughters are graduates of Farmington High School, and today he has two grandchildren who live in town. In fact, he even has one daughter who is an EMT and volunteers on the East Farms Fire Department. Peter has been active in his church for decades, and has served as Chairman of the Parish Council on and off since 1964. His church awarded him a Certificate of Appreciation in 2010 for his longtime service, and Peter received a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly recognizing the accomplishment.

Now retired from the UConn Health Center, Peter remains a vital member of the Farmington community. In both 2016 and 2017, he participated in the Dream Ride Experience for Special Olympics that was staged at Farmington Polo Club – and can’t wait to do it again in 2018!
