Peter Bagdigian – Bio:
A lifelong Farmington resident, Peter Bagdigian has strong roots in the town. Long active in local government, he currently serves as Vice Chair of the Water Pollution Control Authority, and is a past member of both Town Plan and Zoning and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
He remains committed to the place in which he raised his family. His three daughters are graduates of Farmington High School, and today he has two grandchildren who live in town. He has been active in his church for decades, and served as Chairman of the Parish Council. His church awarded him a Certificate of Appreciation in 2010 for his longtime service, and he received a citation from the Connecticut General Assembly recognizing the accomplishment. He served six years in the US Navy Reserves.
Now retired from the UConn Health Center, Peter remains a vital member of the Farmington community. In 2016, he participated in the Dream Ride Experience for Special Olympics that was staged at Farmington Polo Club – and supported it again at this year’s event.
